We crafted the visual identity and strategic communication for the National Aquarium of New Zealand's 'Action April' campaign, a month-long initiative dedicated to raising environmental conservation awareness. The campaign was designed to inspire and empower the public (and avoid the doom-and-gloom narrative often associated with climate change) to take meaningful action towards a sustainable future, one small step at a time. We focused on creating a bold, engaging aesthetic while maintaining an eco-friendly/recycled type of feel to convey sustainability to a wide range of audiences. Our work included creating a variety of materials, such as billboards, social media graphics, signage throughout the aquarium, and interactive games, all aimed at engaging and inspiring the public and reinforcing the message that collective efforts can lead to significant change.
