An event identity for people that love wine, and love dogs? Honestly, it’s the dream brief.
Created by Kin Marketing and hosted at Elephant Hill winery, the day blended pop-up bars, walk routes and treat stations for both two and four-legged guests. 'Winedogs' needed an identity that captured that energy instantly and gave the event a recognisable calling card.
Sumo Creative was brought in to build the brand. The hero became a simple visual illusion: a wine bottle and glass aligning to reveal a dog’s face. Et voilà! Charming, memorable, and made for double-takes. The mark translated seamlessly across posters, tickets, signage and a run of merch people genuinely wanted to take home (and did).
The real measure of success? Not rave reviews, post-event stats or instagram story tags, but spotting the logo later, tattooed on the leg of someone who connected with it enough to keep it forever. Now that's brand loyalty.
