An event identity for people that love wine, and love dogs? Honestly, it’s the dream brief.
Created by Kin Marketing and hosted at Elephant Hill winery, the day blended pop-up bars, walk routes and treat stations for both two and four-legged guests. 'Winedogs' needed an identity that captured that energy instantly and gave the event a recognisable calling card.
Sumo Creative was brought in to build the brand. The hero became a simple visual illusion: a wine bottle and glass aligning to reveal a dog’s face. Et voilà! Charming, memorable, made for double-takes. The mark translated seamlessly across posters, tickets, signage and a run of merch people genuinely wanted to take home (and did).
The real measure of success? Spotting the logo in the wild later, tattooed on the leg of someone who connected with it enough to wear it for life. Tell me you've clocked brand affinity without telling me you've clocked brand affinity.
